Fine gardens, Multi-pool access, Comfortable common areas

Room maintenance could use a revisit!!! Outdated design elements. Inconsistent hot water supply led to discomfort during peak shower times!!!

The location is wonderful, the staff is efficient. It is located next door to restaurants and pubs. The a la carte restaurant in the hotel is good for breakfast.

The proximity to the old town - walking distance approx. 20 minutes, rooms facing the garden and therefore relatively quiet despite the city area.

Breakfast room a bit cramped for the number of people. One sits very close to the neighbouring table.

The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of fresh pastries and fruits. The staff quickly provided extra towels whenever we requested them, our comfort during frequent showers. The gardens surrounding the hotel added a picturesque charm that enhanced our experience. I appreciated the team's warmth and hospitality.

The room lacked A/C, making it uncomfortably hot late in August.

The hotel has very beautiful and well-kept green areas with many flowers. A beautiful pool complex is surrounded by palm trees and other exotic plants. Our room had a view of the lake, was big enough and had good beds. There are many restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity.

The breakfast was monotonous and only for English guests. The coffee had nothing to do with coffee, it didn't taste good from the vending machines.

The food and staff etc were very good. Very nice pool. We will choose the place for future trips if we go to Funchal. A small kitchen available.

We loved the cozy atmosphere, especially when lounging by the beautiful outdoor pool and enjoying cocktails by the bar. With a nice garden area to relax in, everything felt peaceful and inviting. Just a heads up, the buffet was a bit limited during the quieter times, so swing by when it's buzzing 😊

Very quick check-in, parking on site. Great-sized and stylish units and amazing friendly staff from cleaners to management. Great eggs and meats to every taste. Very very good building, good and lovely location just off local restaurants and central Funchal and Funchal bus stop.

Room decor was dated, but the gardens were fine and well-maintained.

Overall the hotel was quite good. If I had a choice I would definitely prefer not to stay in the main building: it lacked some of the character of smaller villas and it was not really quiet due to live music in the winter garden till 10-11 p.m.

It was just a commendable fit for a day tour in Funchal with decent value for money. The bed in my room was huge and very comfortable. Make sure to confirm any food allergies with the staff ahead of time.

Very beautiful hotel in an amazing garden with fine pools. Low buildings with open architecture. A full unification with the nature.

On arrival we were upgraded to a suite at the Pestana Miramar which adjoins the Pestana Village. The room and service were excellent and the hotel is well located.

The mattress was a little hard.
